While 2028 feels like a lifetime away, President Donald Trump already has his eyes on the next election.
He has thrown his support behind two of his closest allies as the potential candidates to take his job next, declaring their ticket to be 'unbeatable'.
The POTUS says he has been 'studying' Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and revealed he has every confidence that they will be victorious in the future race.
Other possible candidates include Texas Senator Ted Cruz, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, Florida Governor. Ron DeSantis, and Trump's son Donald Trump Jr, who recently got married.

Neither Vance or Rubio have confirmed yet if they will run.
It comes despite Vance recently being booed at several public appearances in recent months.
Many people have been wondering who would fill the President's shoes when the time comes.

Trump refused to be drawn on who his favourite was, instead praising both of his allies.
According to the Mirror he said: “I studied [Vance and Rubio] to see if they like each other."
“I just find it interesting, it’s big-time stuff… I do it with everybody, outside the Cabinet too. I study everything, I’m a studier.”
“I watch them together, they get along great, they have a good relationship,” he revealed.
“They’re sort of similar in a lot of ways, but they’re very talented. I think the two of them running together as a team would be very unbeatable.”
"They're both very talented, they're both great," Trump continued.
"I like them together, it'd be great. I don't know how you beat them if you have them together; that would be a great team."
"JD and Marco would be a great team," he continued.

Acknowledging there is still quite a while to go, the President added: "We still have, you know, we have a long time left, we have more than two years and a half years, substantially more than two and a half years."
Many Trump supporters seem to feel that Vance is the next leader, as he has been Trump's staunchest supporter.
The Vice President said he will wait until the after his fourth child has been born in to July to decide whether he will run for President.
On the other hand, Rubio is seen by many as a more experienced, traditionally conservative option.
He recently said of the US: "We want it to continue to be the place where anyone from anywhere can achieve anything," he said.
"Ours is a story of perpetual improvement. Each generation has left the next generation of Americans freer, more prosperous, safer, and that is our goal as well.
Rubio has also said that if Vance does decide to run, he would support him.
