Barron Trump’s personal tailor reveals what he’s actually like in person

The world watched on as the 18-year-old celebrated his father Donald Trump's inauguration on Monday (20 January)

Barron Trump’s personal tailor has opened up about what the teenager is actually like in person, after flying over to help kit him out in some custom suits.

The 18-year-old New York University freshman attended Donald Trump's inauguration alongside his mother, Melania Trump, who definitely captured the attention of people online with her statement get-ups.

Barron, however, opted for more simple fashion choices as his dad was officially sworn in as the 47th president, making him the first person convicted of a felony to assume the presidency.

Ahead of his father's inauguration ceremony, the president’s youngest son collaborated with Pearce Bespoke on a collection of outfits for the occasion.

Speaking to WWD, CEO Nathan Pearce sung the teen's praises, claiming he was 'fascinating to talk to'.

Pearce continued: "He's this super-bright kid. He's well beyond his years in terms of experience, knowledge, history. He's just very fascinating to talk to.

"You know what is another word I would say? Hospitable. He is down-to-earth, nice as can be and hospitable.

"I've thoroughly enjoyed getting to know him over the last one or two years."

The celebrity outfitter went on to claim Barron had 'a dry sense of humour', carrying on: "He's hilarious. But as I said, he's super-sharp. You put him in a room with star businessmen and he will hold his own.

"He can talk to them all day because he's witty, smart and has a dry sense of humour."

Pearce added: "I recognise that Barron Trump could be choosing from tailors all over the world, and he chose me.

"I’m super-grateful and super-proud of that."

Trump has already signed several executive orders - legally-binding written orders to the federal government that do not require congressional approval - including withdrawing from the Paris Climate Agreement and the World Health Organisation (WHO), as well as delaying the TikTok ban.

He's also made some extremely serious moves to end birthright citizenship leaving some to wonder what will happen to Barron's US citizenship.

Barron, whose mother is Slovenian-born Melania, was born in Manhattan back in 2006.

He's a US citizen by birth as, at the time of his birth, Trump was a 'natural-born US citizen' while his mother was a lawful permanent resident who has held a green card since 2001.

This means the executive order wouldn't impact him.

That being said, birthright citizenship is protected by the 14th Amendment and any attempt to revoke it will likely bring immediate legal challenges.

This means that, most likely, Trump will not actually be able to end birthright citizenship - and definitely not through executive order.
