It's been a weird old year already, but according to a Brazilian psychic, it could be about to get worse.

Athos Salomé is known for his predictions, which have earned him the nickname 'the Living Nostradamus'.

He has now made a futuristic warning about the technology many of us rely on, and it comes after Pope Leo has warned that AI needs to be 'disarmed'.

The Pope said: "The word is strong, I know, but deliberately chosen because this moment needs words capable of attracting attention" and referred to 'new digital slaveries'.

Salomé is credited with correctly predicting the Covid outbreak which won him a whole new audience of believers, and he says he also foresaw the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

The 39-year-old believes there will be a series of AI-driven cyberattacks, in addition to satellite blackouts, and what he calls 'energy warfare'.

As the war in Iran continues, Salomé believes it's not traditional and weaponry that we should be worried about.

The psychic has predicted that the next world war will come via technology, rather than through physical combat.

He thinks data will be corrupted, mobile and technology networks will collapse, and misinformation and confusion will rein.

An invisible war

His most viral prediction is for what he is calling 'an invisible war'.

The psychic believes there will be a series of coordinated attacks on technological systems and the internet and mobile networks.

He has also warned of 'selective intelligence blackouts', whereby cyber attackers can cause chaos for their enemies.

Salomé believes a superpower nation could be weakened by being made to 'see the wrong reality'.

This could also include failures in air defence networks, a breakdown of climate forecasting systems, attacks on civilian communication networks, and AI systems could be trained to create false military intelligence, according to The Sunday Guardian.

He also predicts that weapons will be stationed in space in future years.

Living Nostradamus also predicts the advent of super 'quantum computers' which he says will cause huge problems for our current security measures.

"The entire world will have to rebuild its digital security architecture. Governments are already quietly moving toward what the experts refer to as 'post-quantum cryptography'" he insists.

He pointed out that the vast majority of our banking systems, passwords, diplomatic communications and military networks rely on mathematical methods, which he believes that quantum computers will crack in no time at all.

Artificial intelligence

Salome also predicts governments and corporations will increasingly rely on AI for military, financial, and governance decisions, putting them at risk of cyberattack events.

This could also impact banking, healthcare, or communication systems.

Not only that, but he thinks this year will see a surge in deepfakes as well as AI-generated propaganda.

He has forecast misinformation campaigns, which he believes political enemies will use to break the public's trust.

According to the futurist, information and control will become the most valuable thing.
