A response President Trump gave this week after being asked by a reporter about the future of the 'MAGA' campaign has triggered an increasingly heated debate online.
It's nearing one year since Trump was elected for his second White House stint, and to say his second term has been incredibly eventful would be something of an understatement.
While this should be it for Trump in terms of presidential runs, discussions are being had over whether or not the 79-year-old could run for election again.

It appears he is consistently flip-flopping between running for a third term and not, after initially claiming a 'loophole' that could allow him to be re-elected, only to seemingly backtrack on the idea of re-running altogether.
Talk about keeping everyone on their toes.
Naturally, if such a thing were to happen, this poses the question of - if not, which front-man would replace him?

Such was a proposition brought up today (6 Aug) by Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy, who spoke to the politician during a press conference at the White House's South Court Auditorium.
"You said this morning that you probably won't be running for a third term," the journalist began. "This weekend, Secretary of State, Rubio, said that he thought JD Vance would be a great nominee.
"You could clear the entire Republican field right now - do you agree that the heir apparent to MAGA is JD Vance?"
Trump quickly responded: "Well, most likely, in all fairness. He's the Vice President. I think Marco is also somebody that maybe would get together with JD in some form.

"I also think we've got some incredible people - some of the people on the stage right here - so, it's too early, obviously, to talk about it."
Turning the conversation back to his VP, the president went on to say: "But certainly, he's doing a great job. And he would be probably favored at this point."
As we say, Trump's remarks about his potential successor have since sparked quite the row online, with the idea of a president Vance sounding like a bad deal to some.

"JD Vance will definitely not be the next president," one pleaded on X (formerly Twitter), while another said: "JD isn’t the right candidate."
Meanwhile, to others, they seemed rather pleased at the thought, as one person wrote: "A Vance/Rubio ticket is definitely something I would vote for."
Another continued: "Vance/Rubio would be a solid ticket for the Republican Party."
However, another group seemed somewhat stuck in the middle of the debate.

"I think American Patriots should choose another nominee," someone else explained.
"Is JD Vance favorable to leaving NATO, repealing the Patriot Act, repealing Real ID and cutting Palantir off government contracts? Those are the real questions."
And whilst Trump has made several previous comments about the future boss of the Oval Office, he this week made it clear that, whilst he'd be keen for a third run in the position, he 'probably won't' be running again.
"I got the highest vote in the history of Texas, a record that they say won't be beaten unless I run again," he told CNBC yesterday (5 Aug), before he was asked to clarify whether or not he'd campaign for presidency again.
"No, probably not. I'd like to run," Trump continued. "I have the best poll numbers I've ever had. You know why? Because people love the tariffs and they love that foreign countries aren't ripping us off anymore."
"For years they ripped us off, friend and foe."
