Donald Trump’s mystery bruise has seemingly appeared once again, this time covered with a thick coat of concealer during his trip to Scotland.
For those not in the loop, the American president is in the UK to meet with British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, 62, and his wife, Victoria Starmer, 52, at his Turnberry golf resort in South Ayrshire.
Starmer and his wife were greeted with bagpipes as they arrived at the resort to meet with Trump, 79, earlier today (28 July).
But before the prime minister headed over, Trump met with European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen on Sunday afternoon (27 July).

Following the high-stakes meeting, the Republican leader said the US and EU had agreed the ‘biggest deal ever made’.
However, while all this was going on, some eagle-eyed social media users picked up on the fact that a bruise on Trump’s hand had seemingly been covered again.
Well, there was actually so much speculation around the president’s health that White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt had to share the reason behind it - and it’s a surprising one.

When asked earlier this month if there were any medical reasons that could explain the bruise, Leavitt told the Daily Beast: "President Trump is a man of the people and he meets more Americans and shakes their hands on a daily basis than any other President in history.
"His commitment is unwavering and he proves that every single day.”
Yep, you read that right - the bruise is being put down to serial handshaking, and Trump is seemingly showing no signs of stopping.
But that's not all.

Leavitt also shared with the public that Trump was recently diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency.
Also known as CVI, the condition occurs when your leg veins become damaged and then struggle to send blood back up to your heart.

It’s quite common and impacts one in 20 adults, according to Cleveland Clinic, with over 50s suffering from it the most and the risk going up the older you get.
Leavitt’s statement read: "In the effort of transparency, the president wanted me to share a note from his physician with all of you today.
“In recent weeks, President Trump noted mild swelling in his lower legs.
"In keeping with routine medical care, and out of an abundance of caution, this concern was thoroughly evaluated by the White House medical unit.”

She added: "The president underwent a comprehensive examination, including diagnostic vascular studies, bilateral lower extremity, venous doppler ultrasounds were performed and revealed chronic venous insufficiency … a common condition, particularly in individuals over the age of 70.
"Importantly, there was no evidence of deep vein thrombosis or arterial disease… An echocardiogram was also performed and confirmed normal cardiac structure and function, no signs of heart failure, renal impairment or systemic illness were identified additionally."
