Charlie Kirk's surgeon has reportedly revealed that his assassination actually saved the lives of others.
The Turning Point USA co-founder was fatally shot while speaking at a university event in Utah last week (10 September).
Whilst in the midst of answering a question from a student about the rise of gun violence in the US, the father-of-two was shot in the neck.
Two days later, authorities confirmed they arrested a suspect, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, who has since been charged with seven counts, including aggravated murder.

Today, thousands of Americans are flocking to State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, where a memorial is being held for Kirk.
The event organisers have said members of the public will be allowed into the stadium, which has a capacity of up to 73,000, on a first-come, first-served basis. Security measures are high, and among those set to speak at the funeral are US President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and Kirk's widow Erika.
And ahead of the event, earlier today, Turning Point USA spokesman Andrew Kolvet revealed details of an alleged conversation he had with the surgeon who worked on Kirk in the hospital, following the fatal shooting.

In particular, he wanted to talk about the 'lack of exit wound' and what that meant.
Kolvet penned on Twitter: "I want to address some of the discussion about the lack of an exit wound with Charlie.
"I’m usually not interested in delving into most of this kind of online chatter, and I apologise this is somewhat graphic, but in this case, the fact that there wasn’t an exit wound is probably another miracle, and I want people to know."
He went on to claim that he spoke with the person who worked on the podcaster in the hospital.

And according to Kolvet, the surgeon explained that the bullet 'absolutely should have gone through, which is very very normal for a high powered, high velocity round'.

The surgeon reportedly added: "I’ve seen wounds from this caliber many times and they always just go through everything. This would have taken a moose or two down, an elk, etc.”
Kolvet continued: "But it didn’t go through. Charlie’s body stopped it. I mentioned to his doctor that there were dozens of staff, students, and special guests standing directly behind Charlie on the other side of the tent."

The Turning Point spokesperson said the surgeon's response was: “It was an absolute miracle that someone else didn’t get killed.
“His bone was so healthy and the density was so so impressive that he’s like the man of steel. It should have just gone through and through. It likely would have killed those standing behind him too.”
Kolvet signed off with: "In the end, the coroner did find the bullet just beneath the skin. Even in death, Charlie managed to save the lives of those around him. Remarkable. Miraculous."
The social media post has since been viewed more than 12 million times.
