Three zodiac signs most affected by last night's New Moon

Despite the New Moon being in Scorpio this time around, two other star signs will likely be affected by the solar system's position change

Spooky season is officially over and a new month upon us, which means one thing for astrologers - no, not that Christmas is only one month away!

The exciting cosmological news is a New Moon has landed as of tonight night (1 November) - and this time, it's in Scorpio.

That doesn't mean, however, that only individuals born under this star sign - between 23 October and 21 November - could be affected by changes in the earth's rotation.

In fact, according to tarot expert and psychic Inbaal Honigman, there are a grand total of three horoscope signs that will likely see some changes to both their personal and professional lives in the coming weeks...

For those out of the loop with the astrology, however - which describes type of divination that involves observing and interpreting how the position of the sun, moon, stars and planets might affect human behaviour - we're here to fill you in on all the New Moon need-to-knows.

What is the New Moon?

Speaking on behalf of Spin Genie, Inbaal explains: "Every month, the birth of the new moon occurs when the Sun and the Moon are in the same sign. During the New Moon of Scorpio season, the moon would be in Scorpio.

"The time of the New Moon is a time of new beginnings, fresh ideas and fearless decisions."

OK, so now we know all about the New Moon - what are the signs who will feel its affects the most?

Up first on the list is Scorpio, with Inbaal telling Tyla: "The Sun and the Moon were both in Scorpio from November 1st, which will likely cause Scorpios to feel this moon phase quite acutely."

Scorpio will be able to 'enjoy this moment of rebirth' as they are secretive and like keeping their cards close to their chests, meaning they’ll 'welcome this time of transformation' when nobody is asking them to reveal anything.

They can look forward to new offers at work and maybe even meeting a new lover.

"Any actions linked with crafting a new future while not worrying about the past are now ideal for passionate Scorpio," Inbaal adds.

Cancer

Next is Cancer, who is most affected by lunar events in the household.

Inbaal explains that this is because the sign of Cancer is ruled by the Moon so, during a new moon, Cancer feels refreshed.

"The desire to meet new people or visit new places is not commonplace for sensitive Cancer, as they’re a nostalgic sign and prefer old over new," she notes.

"It’s only during the New Moon that they’re drawn to fresh energies, and want to surround themselves with new experiences."

Pisces

And last on the rundown is Pisces.

"Scorpio and Cancer are directly touched by this New Moon, and they are two of the three water signs. The third water sign, Pisces, will also feel the freshness of the new moon, due to its connection with the water element," Inbaal shares.

The moon's gravitational pull on the Earth causes the tides, which directly shows that the link between the moon and the element of water here on Earth is scientific and eternal, so 'all the water signs will be affected by a new moon'.

Pisces, which Inbaal describes as 'romantic beyond measure', will find that this new moon will breathe life into their relationship.

"Booking a romantic holiday or thinking of a fun surprise for their partner is how Pisces will celebrate the new moon in Scorpio," Inbaal adds.
