A debate has ignited on social media after an Uber driver alleged she ended a customer's ride after she discovered he was having an affair. Watch the video below:

In the video, which has attracted 1.6 million likes and 8.5 million views, Dallas-based Uber driver Roni claimed a customer she picked up said goodbye to his wife and children outside his house before entering her vehicle.

The customer allegedly added a stop during his ride after Roni started driving and once she arrived at the new location, a woman with a 'little bit of luggage' approached the car.

Once the woman got in, Roni claimed that the woman told the man she was 'so glad that [he] finally got away' from 'his damn wife'.

Roni said she saw the man kiss the female passenger, before telling the driver that he had changed the drop off location.

“They continued to talk, and this, that, and the other,” Roni recalled. “And she says: ‘You know I’m tired of you putting me off. When are you going to leave your wife?’

"And he said: ‘You know I’ve got some things that I’ve got to take care of, let’s talk about this later'."

Roni said she was only ‘about five miles’ away from the man’s house.

In the video she tells viewers she works for herself and she decides how to react to what goes on in her vehicle.

She explained: “This is my car. I work for myself. I am an independent contractor. If I choose to end your ride, it’s my choice.

“Uber’s not gonna fire me, Uber’s not gonna ban me, Uber’s not gonna get rid of me. If you are doing something crappy in my car, I have the right to handle it however I see fit.”

She shared ‘things didn’t turn out so well’ for the man as she drove him ‘back to his house’ and left him and the woman standing outside.

Toni then strongly criticised the man for his alleged infidelity.

“There is nothing worse than a dog,” she added. “Female or male. Pull some s**t like that in my car, and you’re going to get done like that. Karma’s a motherf****r. Be better people, do better in life.

“It didn’t end well for him today, I’m sure, because both of them had their baggage, and both of them were standing in his front yard when I left.”

One TikTok user declared in response: “You are AWESOME!!”

While dozens of other viewers called Toni a ‘superhero’, with one person writing: “Not all Superheros wear capes. GOOD FOR YOU BABE.”

A third simply wrote: “I love you mama.”

And another called said: “You’re straight savage I love it.”

The man was allegedly taken back to his residence with the woman.

However, some social media users expressed concerns about the couple’s children seeing their dad with another woman.

“Wife had the right to know but not in front of the little ones,” replied one TikTok user.

A second account wrote: “Maybe the wife is doing the same thing behind his back, who are we to put people on trial?”

“I am not sure about this,” someone else typed. “Something bad could have happened. Plus his kids were there.”

Another person said: “I would’ve completed the ride, then went back and told the wife…it wouldn’t be good for the kids to witness that drama…let her go on her own.”

While another TikTok user felt conflicted. “Ehhhh, I’m like yeah but what about his kids? That’s the only prob I see.”

Tyla has contacted Uber for comment.
