A woman who stands at just 3’9” tall has defended her relationship with her boyfriend, who towers over her at 5’9” and is a decade older than her.

Though she admits their relationship is a ‘bit bizarre’, Cait - who was born with achondroplasia, a rare form of dwarfism - insists that Guy is her perfect match.

It wasn’t plain sailing for the happy couple, though.

At the time, Guy had been working in the South of France on a yacht and had been scrolling when he first saw the model and blogger on Facebook.

Deciding to take a risk, he sent a friend request to the 22-year-old and waited for her reply.

“I was scrolling through social media and I came across a modelling profile. I was like wow she’s beautiful. I want to try to date her,” he recalled to Love Don’t Judge.

Understandably, Cait was a little hesitant to message the marine engineer back.

Not only was Guy a total stranger, but the content creator had been fetishized for her achondroplasia throughout her life and feared the same would happen again.

“There are a lot of people who fetishize dwarfism, as it’s quite different,” she explained, adding; “I’ve got to be so careful not to interact with it.”

Nine weeks later though, she accepted the 32-year-old’s request and they’ve been inseparable ever since.

Friends and family though weren’t quite so convinced, with many concerned about the couple’s differences.

Speaking to the YouTube channel, Cait explained: “Some of my friends were worried Guy was exploiting me in some way or another. He seemed too good to be true.

“There’s a narrative that people like me cannot get a guy like Guy so it was a bit bizarre for everybody."

These fears weren’t eased when Guy suggested that his girlfriend set up an OnlyFans page, with the young woman uploading glamour model shots to the risqué site.

Thankfully, he was eventually able to win over Cait’s loved ones.

“It was more important for them to know I was okay and I was quite keen for them [Cait’s parents] to meet me as soon as possible so they know I was genuine,” revealed Guy, who also admitted that he ‘hadn’t expected to fall in love’.

“It was like a fairytale story,” he gushed.

Cait also felt the same, saying that her mysterious sailor has helped build her confidence and feel sexy.

It seems these two can weather any storm that comes their way!
