Storm Ciara has left us feeling cold, bitter, fed up of winter and in need of a weekend break to refresh.

Enter: Ryanair. The budget airline has upped its game once again and is offering flights starting at just a fiver - perfect for a spring getaway that won't leave us feeling the pinch.

All of the incredible flight deals are in the months of March - perfect for a turn-of-season getaway to bridge the gap between Christmas and your big summer hols.

How about Madrid? Flights are £12.99 from Birmingham, £13.99 from London Stansted and £18.99 from Manchester - so you're pretty much covered wherever you live in the country.

While there you can enjoy temperatures of up to 16 degrees - much warmer than the UK during that time of year and let's be honest, likely so much sunnier too.

But there's so much to visit while there, from the grand Royal Palace, to the Temple of Debod, an ancient Egyptian temple that was dismantled and rebuilt in the city.

There's also the Mercado de San Miguel, a 100 year old market and foodie's paradise where you can eat and drink to your heart's content. Also visit the El Retiro - a 118 hectare park which is not only a sight to see in itself, but a place to relax in a green space (and pop some Spanish Cava of course).

If this is taking your fancy you'll need to be quick, as you need to book flights by tomorrow. You'll also need to be available to fly between 1st and 31st March this year. It's a small window, but it's the shove we all need to book a much-deserved break - you know we're right.

But Madrid isn't the only destination on the list of cheap flights.

Always fancied seeing the Leaning Tower of Pisa? Well, flights to Pisa are just £13.99 from London Stansted. They jump up a little to £18.99 from Glasgow and £27.30 from East Midlands, but still a bargain.

We know you want to do *that* leaning snap.

There are so many other deals, too. From Corfu, flights starting at £9.99 from Southend and Budapest flights at £9.99 from Manchester and Stansted, plus travels to Mallorca start at just £7.99 - you're spoilt for choice!

But if you really want the best bargain on offer, it's off to Ireland you go.

There are £5 flights up for grabs to Dublin, Cork, Knock, Kerry and Shannon. That's cheaper than a cocktail!

Naturally, these flights are just one way, so you'll need to scout out for the best return journey price too to ensure you keep costs down. Check out all the deals here.

You also need to bear in mind luggage. With Ryanair, only a small holdall is included in the fare, but for an extra £20.85, you can upgrade this to two cabin bags which also comes with priority boarding and a reserved seat - so no begging that chap who is sitting next to your friend to switch with you.

It's first come first serve, so to bag the best deals we suggest you hurry and book here.
