The rainy, windy weather has had us all dreaming of sunnier climes this week - but sadly, it's set to continue well into the weekend.

But, Ryanair seems to have read all of our minds after launching a huge spring sale, with some flights on offer for just a fiver - but you'll need to be quick.

Passengers must book today for travel between 1st March and 31st May 2020, so if you've been talking about a last-minute getaway *forever,* now is the time to book.

And when it comes to destinations, you'll be spoilt for choice. There are plenty of options for a week away in the sun, including Venice for just £5.99, while Valencia, Paphos and Malta would set you back less than a tenner.

Palma, in Mallorca is also priced at £9.99. But if it's a city break you're after, you can snap up a flight to Verona, Krakow or Barcelona for the same price.

If you've been planning a trip to Dublin - or, if you're organising a hen do to the Irish capital - you're in luck, because flights are as low as just £5 - which we're sure will be in everyone's budgets.

Other £5 deals include Norway, Cork and Knock - which are worth taking advantage of if you have family or friends in Ireland.

When it comes to departing airports, there are loads to choose from throughout the UK. These include London Stansted, Luton, East Midlands, Bristol, Manchester, Newcastle and Edinburgh.

There are also flights departing from Newquay, Aberdeen, Exeter and Liverpool as well as Dublin, Belfast and Kerry.

While it's cheaper to fly mid-week, the sale does include weekend flights - although these are obviously priced at a higher fare.

To view the huge range of options, head over to the Ryanair website where you'll see the full list of offers.

Don't forget to book by the end of the day!
