While we're still in the throes of winter, there's no hobby we enjoy more than dreaming about our next tropical getaway. If you can relate and Bali is high on your bucket list, you might want to bookmark this amazing bubble lodge.

Located in Gianyar on the Indonesian island, these custom-made hexagon bubble tents provide the perfect bench between a luxury stay and camping, as guests can enjoy the stunning surrounding nature from the comfort of a cosy and well-kitted bubble.

Guests can sleep under the stars and take in all the amazing sounds from the surrounding jungle, and awake to watch sunrise over Mount Agung and the nearby rice paddies.

Each pod contains a private bathroom, decked with all the electricals and toiletries you might need, while the stay also includes an à la carte breakfast.

The lodge is located 16.2 miles from Kapten and 24.2 miles from Tirta Sudamala Temple for some local sightseeing, while the nearest airport is Ngurah Rai International.

According to Booking.com, Jungle Bubble Lodge has been welcoming guests from all over the world since February 2019 - and the reviews are glowing.

"Would definitely recommend to stay here, the experience is just something completely different and the people are so nice, and the bubbles are so cool and clean!" wrote one happy traveller.

"The property exceeded our expectations. The host was beyond nice and super helpful. The good thing about location is that it is situated uphill in the rice fields around nature," said another.

"However you can easily rent a scooter and the host will help you and guide you to wherever you want to go, for example Ubud center. The food was also very tasty and the portions were super filling. It was an amazing experience," they added.

"The property is lovely and secluded. The view and sunrise is beautiful and also the breakfast is very good," commented a third.

As for the price, there's no need to brace yourself - they're actually really reasonable. Prices start from £28 per night for a double room, and go up in peak periods, such as Valentine's Day.

You can book a pod at the Jungle Bubble Lodge here, and for another amazing bubble pod, make sure you check out the amazing Bubble Hotel Bali located in the island's Uluwatu.
