If you're looking to book an extra special trip - and you happen to be a devoted giraffe fan - look no further than Giraffe Manor.

Located in the middle of a giraffe sanctuary, the exclusive boutique hotel in Nairobi, Kenya, offers guests extraordinary access to the majestic animals - and you'll even be able to have your breakfast with the friendly creatures.

Dubbed as one of the most Instagrammable properties in the world, the hotel - owned by The Safari Collection - is a manor house set in 12 acres of private land which falls within 140 acres of indigenous forest.

It's also home to a herd of giraffes that visit the hotel morning, noon and night, interacting with guests and popping their long necks through open windows to say hello (especially when breakfast is being served).

Just watch out for their 20-inch-long tongues which can scoop up a treat from afar - but fear not, the hotel advise they're only after the dried grass pellets, which are also on-hand.

As well as breakfast, the giraffes like to swing by for afternoon tea, which is available to book between 5pm and 6pm. The manor hotel even encourage guests to give the animals a smooch - but we're not sure we're brave enough.

"Be brave and give a 'giraffe kiss' a go by offering a pellet between your lips - giraffe saliva contains antiseptic properties," the website reads.

You can also visit the Giraffe Centre where visitors can learn all about the beautiful animals. At the centre, there's the opportunity to head over the the feeding platform where guests can interact with the giraffes and feed them their lunch.

The hotel itself is breathtaking. Built in 1932, it offers six bedrooms: Betty, Daisy, Jock, Lynn, Marlon and the Karen Blixen Suite. Next door to the original manor house sits The Garden Manor which houses another six rooms: Salma, Edd, Arlene, Helen, Kelly and the Finch Hatton Suite.

All are exquisitely decorated with chic, antique furniture and an art deco bathrooms.

There's also a spa and the chance to organise a romantic, candle-lit dinner in the hotel's Orchid House. The hidden gem offers a unique, private dining experience and guests can book in advance.

Prices start at £680 per person per night (all inclusive), so it's certainly a once-in-a-lifetime splurge.

There are 12 bedrooms to choose from (
