Having siblings is a great thing for most, as you have people to support you for your entire life...but there’s a catch that has just been realised that’s left people devastated.
Whether you have two sisters, two brothers, or one of each, being one of three siblings is a pretty odd dynamic.
As three, you’ll have two that are generally closer to one another (I have two brothers, so go figure), or you might be all close-knit.
However, there’s one thing that’s almost guaranteed to occur in this situation...and it relates to death.

Enrique Carrillo, a health and wellness coach on Instagram, had this sad realisation whilst he was up in the air, flying over the Atlantic, which led him to sob.
He posted a clip to his 155k followers, showing him wiping tears from his eyes.

He said: “Realizing having 3 siblings means one of us will see all the funerals, one will see none, and one won’t have any at theirs.”
It’s actually really sad, and as part of a trio myself, it’s pretty messed up when it comes to siblings and not parents.
In his caption, he explained that he was ‘watching a movie on the plane to Berlin and it just hit me out of nowhere’, adding: "Not a line.
Not a scene. Just the weight of it all."
Noting that ‘none of us knows how this story plays out’ was a realisation that made him think about how ‘grateful’ he is for his sisters.
As you’d expect, the comments are very heartbroken about it.
Some commenters shared their own experiences, be it theirs or someone in their family, as one person said: "Grew up with 2 brothers, both passed young and unexpectedly. Im not even 40 yet and Im the only one left.. I always thought that all of us would have our own families, grow old together, but thats never going to happen.

"You're blessed if you still have your siblings around, cherish them.”
Meanwhile, another commenter said: "My grandmother was the last to bury 12 siblings. She wasn’t the same after the last one."
A third admitted: “I hope that I’m the last of my siblings, not because I want to watch them die, but so that none of them are the ones left alone.”
Someone simply didn’t want to see this on their feed and asked: “Respectfully can you NOT.”
A fourth said: "I already have anxiety about our parents, don’t bring my siblings into it," while a fifth commented: "I‘m not crying, you are."
