The university campus can certainly be a hotspot for a lot of drama, whether that is drunken nights out or just the simple teacher student argument.

This particular university drama is surely up there with the most unbelievable though, with footage of it going viral on social media.

Graduation day is supposed to be the happiest day of the university experience, but for this one woman, it was for from it.

TikTok user Kadia Iman posted a video on the platform showing her wrestle the mic from a school official who was announcing names of students during an outdoor ceremony.

The short clip was certainly chaotic.

In the short clip, Kadia can be heard saying her piece in front of confused onlookers.

"I want the mic. Let go... you didn't let me get my moment," she said.

After informing the audience her full name, she continued to say, "I am graduating today."

"I don't like how you snatched the mic out of my hand, so today is going to be all about me."

She then conducted the ultimate mic drop and stormed off.

The clip left many TikTok users and those in attendance at the ceremony a little confused as to the reason for the outburst.

As a result, Kadia explained her actions in response to one TikTok user, she said: "Basically what happened was, I was walking on, and we had to announce our names before we get on the stage, and I was saying my name... my name is long, obviously, I have like three syllables in it, so I didn’t even finish getting to say my name.

"And then the people that went before me, they all got to say their name, their major, and even some extras.

"Me and the other girl noticed she was pulling the mic down super fast for some Black people.

She continued: "I don’t want to be that person, but that was the tea.

"So I just couldn’t let that happen because I just feel like I worked so hard to graduate and went through so much s*** to graduate that I just felt like I had to reclaim my moment.

"I’m sorry like, I’m not a problematic person, I don’t want to ruin no ones day, I don’t want to violate anyone… but that’s what she did.

"She didn’t even let me finish speaking, she put the mic down and cut me off and that was the only time I was able to speak.

"So I just felt like that wasn’t right."
