As celebrants around the world commemorate Halloween this weekend, an astrologist has issued an urgent warning about the dangers that the spooky season might pose for a number of star signs.

According to experts, 31 October is a global holiday that carries deep astrological and spiritual significance, much of which has its roots in ancient seasonal cycles.

Firstly, the day aligns with the ancient Gaelic festival Samhain. Celebrated by ancient Celts and Druids living in the British Isles, this occasion marks the end of the harvest season, and the Sun's descent into the darker half of the year.

Secondly, Halloween falls on a cross-quarter day in the solar year, falling roughly halfway between the Autumn Equinox (Libra) and the Winter Solstice (Capricorn). As such, the day is considered by some to be a veil between worlds.

Despite Halloween having long been considered a period for divination and spiritual reflection, astrologer and tarot expert Inbaal Honigman believes that some zodiac signs can benefit from this ominous era.

In particular, speaking to Tyla on behalf of Tarotoo, the mystic said three horoscopes could find themselves most in favour...

Scorpio

Kicking off with Scorpio, Honigman explained that individuals born between approximately 23 October and 21 November have a deeper resonance with Halloween, given that the holiday always falls during Scorpio season (October 23 – November 21), the sign ruled by Pluto (modern) and Mars (traditional).

"Every Halloween, the zodiac sign that can't get enough of it is Scorpio," she told us.

"The sun is in Scorpio at Halloween, it is Scorpio season, and those born under the sign of the Scorpion feel entirely at home under the flickering images of ghosts and pumpkins."

This being the case, she believes Scorpios might find themselves in luck in a number of fields, including both personal and professional.

"This sign adores the dark aesthetic and the quirky humour of Scary Season," she continued.

Sagittarius

According to Honigman, babies born between 22 November and 21 December might also have some luck this weekend, with the positioning of the planets reportedly boosting their interpersonal skills.

"Mercury, the planet of communication, is in the sign of the Archer, helping Sagittarians improve their lives by improving their communication skills," the astrologist explained, even going as far as to send some reference examples.

"Sending a Halloween card to impress their crush, or scheduling a job interview for Halloween itself, will serve the Sagittarius well," she added.

Pisces

It's not just pre-Christmas star signs that Honigman believes could benefit from the spooky season, with Pisces babies - born between 19 February and 20 March - reportedly more susceptible to being influenced by the alignment of the stars.

"The Moon is in Pisces on Halloween 2025, which makes it a romantic night for those born under the sign of the Fish," she continued. "Dressing up and eating chocolates is a Piscean's idea of a good evening in, and even a good evening out.

"Casting a spell on Halloween eve would bear phenomenal results for the Pisces, under the Pisces moon."

A summary

"Most star signs adore Halloween,' Honigman wrapped up her 2025 assessment. "The party animals like Gemini and Sagittarius love it because there's a strong social aspect to the day's festivities.

"The traditional signs like Taurus and Aquarius enjoy Halloween because of the historic aspect and the old-world special effects."

She added: "And even the more serious signs like Scorpio and Capricorn appreciate the dark aesthetics and the mysteries of the season. This Halloween will see signs Sagittarius and Pisces being the most affected when it comes to their careers and love."
