There are some career paths that might seem unconventional at best, but one person who works at a ‘massage parlour’ isn’t afraid to open up about the nitty gritty details you’ve always wanted to know.

Working in a such a place often brings in a lot of questions from interested parties, but when it comes to talking about the particular aspect of a ‘happy ending’, people can be pretty secretive about that side of the business.

But not this woman who wanted people to ask her questions about her line of work on Reddit.

Taking to the Ask Me Anything forum, she wrote: “I work at a *massage parlour*, AMA.

“I feel this industry has lots of preconceptions, I even had them before I started and had lots of questions myself.”

She said that it was a ‘happy ending parlour’ that focuses on hand jobs, and not sex.

The user explained how she ‘came into it when I was desperate for money’ after dealing with ‘addiction and got fired from my job, got sober, and desperately needed a job even 6 months later’.

The woman initially quit once she got another job, however when she had her ‘heart smashed to smithereens’ she ‘went back to it in conjunction with my day job’.

When asked whether she looked forward to giving a happy ending to an attractive client and if she dreaded giving one to a less attractive customer, she said that it didn’t matter to her.

The Redditor explained: “Honestly, I enjoy what I do regardless.

“I started when I was desperate for money, then left when I got a big girl job but came back to it and now work there after my office job.

“I like it bc people come in for all sorts of reasons: lonely, to heal sexual trauma, too busy to date, wanting to explore things they wouldn’t want to in their personal lives.

“I love listening to their stories. Unless you're an a**hole and treat me with disrespect, I enjoy it as much as you do.

“A lot of the guys assume I’m an airhead who’s just hot for money, when in reality I’m well educated and have my office job but just love what I can offer.”

Focusing on the part where people think she’s an ‘airhead’, the woman explained how people’s perceptions of her are totally wrong.

She said: “I’m sure everyone on this post thinks I’m a big t*t, pumped with plastic, shallow person. In reality, I’m extremely normal, natural, and quite shy. I just love the job.”

The Redditor admitted that she enjoys what she do because ‘men that come in, especially newbies, are usually very ashamed and shy. But guys, it’s a part of life! Having an orgasm is fantastic’.

She added: “Talking to someone about your day feels great.”

The woman also shared how she thinks it's cheating if a man comes to her when he is in a relationship, as many social media users wanted to know her stance.

As it’s entirely legal where she lives to do it, she said she isn’t met with hostility and doesn’t tend to get any trouble in the parlour.

At the heart of it all, the woman considers herself providing a valuable service to anyone that needs it.
