Groom exposed bride who was cheating with best man in savage wedding speech

A groom was plummeted into his worst nightmare after discovering that his wife-to-be had been enjoying a long affair with - wait for it - his best man.

Before you begin pitying the man in question, however - with his life seemingly having followed that of an overused soap opera story - just wait until you hear how he exposed the pair.

Let's just say it'll likely go down in history as one of the best revenge stories ever told.

Instead of immediately confronting his betrothed and calling off the wedding, he opted for a significantly more low-key approach - at first, that is...

As told on The Unfiltered Bride gossip podcast by presenters Georgie and Beth, the unnamed man apparently waited until they'd tied the knot and were enjoying the family's speeches before revealing the news to the entire party.

In a clip posted to TikTok, host Georgie said: "I’ve got another story to tell you, I can’t tell you who told me because I’m not really allowed to tell the story.

"But f*** it, I’m going to tell the story anyway. So there was a wedding, and they did the wedding, the bride and groom.

"[They] got married, lovely ceremony and drinks reception they sat down and had their food. Speeches [came] after food. Father of the bride does his thing."

It was then, she explained, that the groom reportedly stood up and told the wedding guests that an ‘envelope’ was being passed around.

He apparently stated that inside they would be able to find some pictures of the newly-wed woman and the best man together.

Georgie carried on to say: "Groom stands up and says 'Just before I like properly get started, there's envelopes coming round now if you could all open them up.'"

He then apparently proceeded to ‘drop the microphone’ before leaving the reception with his entire family, who were already in on the revenge plot.

To make it even worse, the man also reportedly left his cheating wife and her family to pick up the wedding tab.

Georgie recalled the groom saying: "'Yeah, those are pictures of the bride f***ing the best man, so I'll be leaving now'.

"[He] drops the microphone and him and all his family knew about it, and left. Because they wanted the bride to have had to pay for the food."

The viral clip has amassed hundreds of comments from TikTok users and has prompted viewers to ask some big questions of the story.

One user commented: "I worked in a hotel and witnessed almost the same thing, groom just turned and walked out leaving bride screaming."

Another wrote: "But if they’re at the reception making speeches and they’ve already had the ceremony and he married her…"

A third user questioned: "Who took the pictures?"

However, a fan of the podcast simply asked the pair: "How do you have the juiciest goss?"
