A man has revealed his wife is so ashamed of her three-carat engagement ring, she wears a rubber band instead.

Watch the video below:

TikTok user @tiktokarash shared the short clip of his fiancée whilst she used her phone, writing: "My Persian wife is ashamed of her 'small' 3 carat diamond ring so she wears this rubber thing instead."

The video has since gone viral, racking up 15.8 million views, and TikTok users have been sharing their theories as to why the woman has opted for a rubber band instead of a huge ring.

“Security reasons,” commented on TikTok user.

However some people disagreed with this theory, with one woman replying: “Why get a ring so big you’re afraid to wear it for fear of being robbed. Everyone is so extra these days.”

Another person quipped: “Take the ring back and let her wear the rubber band.”

Someone else joked: “Maybe you need a new wife that appreciate what you give and do for her.”

One TikTok user called the move a 'red flag' while someone else wrote: “You got a winner bro.”

In other marital news, women claimed they felt 'attacked' after a video was shared on TikTok showing a man selling his ex's wedding dress.

While people have used TikTok for everything ranging from learning new dances, recipes and airing their grievances regarding their ex partners, this video is truly shocking.

Watch below:

The man listed his ex's white dress for just £5, but it was the description that was the real kicker.

In fact, the description gave viewers a few hints about how the relationship might have ended and let's just say, it doesn't sound ideal.

He wrote: "Wedding dress - would fit the larger lady, quite chavvy in style so would suit a cheap sla**er.

"Had a lucky escape so it's brand new which is more than can be said for the intended wearers well worn vagina". Ouch.

The seller went on to add: "It's a size 12 I think - she was prone to lying so it's possibly a 14/16".
