Someone do something quick because there is literally a human trapped inside this dog's body.

Honestly, just look into his eyes and you'll instantly feel like you're in the presence of an old friend you've lost touch with or a kind grandparent who used to feed you cookies.

In fact, Nori, the Aussiepoo mix with his scarily human-like features, is baffling the hoards online.

Psst...We have exciting news to share about the future of Pretty 52

The unusual canine has reached international stardom since his owners Kevin Hurless, 33, and Tiffany Ngo, 34, both from Seattle, US, posted a photo of him Twitter.

Nori's piercing portrait racked up over 9,000 likes on the platform with people amazed by his human likeness.

His owners say they have got used to the attention their Toy Australian Shepard and Toy Poodle mix gets everywhere they go.

With his kind almond eyes that have just a hint of blue and pink lips that curve into a friendly (and extremely human-like) smile, the pooch has left passersby scratching their heads and wondering what's off.

"When he was a puppy, we couldn't go more than a block without someone stopping us to ask questions about him," said Kevin, an energy consultant.

"It has become less frequent as he's gotten older, but we still often hear about how human his face and eyes look.

"When he was a puppy, his fur was much darker, and he often was compared to Chewbacca or an Ewok, which are characters in Star Wars.

"We usually hear that it is his eyes that creates the human look, and I tend to agree.

"Nori is a Toy Australian Shepard and Toy Poodle mix and he often looks like he's smiling."

Tiffany Ngo, Kevin's partner, and 'mum' to Nori, added: "Nori also has an Instagram account, where we post pictures of him often.

"That's where we get all the comments about his human features, with some people saying he looks like a giant person or they're marvelling at his eyes."

Speaking about his personality, the contract administrator added: "Nori is incredibly sweet and friendly, and very energetic and playful.

"He loves all people and dogs that he meets and just wants to be friends with everyone.

"He's got quirky behaviour, like when he 'kneads', where he'll put a toy in his mouth while he kneads with his front paws, like cats often do.

Kevin added: "We were surprised by all the attention Nori gets at first.

"We knew he had a very unique and interesting look, but didn't expect quite the reaction we got.

"But we remember being dogless and wanting to pet all of the dogs, so we try to be friendly and let people meet him as much as possible.

"We made the decision to get Nori a friend last year, Boba, who is a one year old Shorkie - which is a Shih-tzu, Yorkie mix.

"They get along great and play together all the time, though Nori sometimes has too much energy for Boba and Boba gets annoyed.

"You can see Nori's human look even more when the two are stood side by side.

"'Doodles' as a breed are very popular right now, but being a toy mix, Nori is only about 13 pounds and mostly fluff. He looks completely different during a bath!"

We're still convinced Nori is the result of some crazy science experiment gone wrong and there is a human in there that needs help.

Hold tight buddy, we're sending help.
