If you've got a Ring doorbell, you'll be pleased to know the handy device has some festive features.

It's not just a seasonal ringtone either, you now can add festive messages from the infamous creature who stole Christmas.

With a handful of Christmas-themed ringtones, anyone with a Ring doorbell is spoilt for choice when it comes to seasonal jingles.

From 'Festive Ding Dong' to 'Holiday Jingle' and 'Holiday Ding Dong', there’s a handful of fun choices, although you’ll need a Ring Chime device to select one.

Once you have the app, selecting your new jingle is super easy, simply open the interface, click on the three lines located on the left hand side, choose ‘devices’, hit ‘chime’, then go to ‘audio settings’ and select ‘chime tones’.

Once you’re there, you should see the new Christmas tones, then all you need to do is pick one and hit save.

But now, a mum has shared that there are some even more exciting Christmassy settings on the Ring Doorbell.

She's revealed you can unlock a whole range of sounds from the beloved Christmas movie The Grinch.

She shared the amazing parenting hack in the Family Lockdown Tips & Ideas Facebook Group.

One person commented beneath their post: “Omg this is amazing,” while another added: “I had no idea! I just changed it.”

The Ring app has a range of Grinch sounds.

However, some others had complaints about the sounds.

One wrote: "I’m sorry but it sounds like Peter griffin."

Another agreed: "I’ve done this but I think he sounds more like Peter griffin."

Others have pointed out that although the sounds are enjoyable, there's a rather embarrassing downside.

One revealed: "We’ve got this on ours the postman’s face when it clicks in is funny."

While another claimed: "My husband has done this to ours ... not going to lie its embarrassing when the post woman is standing facing me and the grinch is talking."

You can now check out six Grinch Quick Replies, voiced by James Austin Johnson from Saturday Night Live.

These can be added to your device through the Ring app by navigating to the Devices menu and selecting your doorbell.

Next, simply click Smart Responses and pick Quick Replies, and enjoy all available options.
