Nightmare neighbours, we've all got one.

And if you can't think of any frustrating curtain twitchers, party-harders or questionable car parkers on your block, the chances are, it's probably you...

Anyway, if you think you've got it bad when it comes to your next-door 'frenemy', one TikTok-using mum would argue otherwise.

The social media user - who goes by the handle @itsmamnotmum - last month revealed that her 'nightmare neighbours' had left her furious after shambolically painting the fence that divides their gardens.

Deciding to paint the once-brown side of their fence white, the neighbour naturally painted the edges of each wooden panel, only to leave the oak side of the TikTok user's fence nothing short of a hot mess.

The mum showed off the results of her neighbour's badly painted fence.

"Next door painted their fence, but look at the state of ours!!" she wrote on the viral video, before asking: "Would you say something?"

The TikTok sparked a varied reaction from viewers, with some believing the neighbours were well within their right to paint their side of the fence.

"Looks like their fence, they paid for it and installed it, they can paint it anyway they want I’m afraid," one user commented.

Another seconded their motion, adding: "It’s their fence they can paint it, unfortunately you’ll need permission off them to paint/sand or do anything to the side which faces you."

The painted fence has sparked huge debate.

Others took a more sympathetic view to the mum's situation however, with one suggesting: "It’s their fence they can paint it, unfortunately you’ll need permission off them to paint/sand or do anything to the side which faces you."

Another teased: "Only one thing for it... bright neon paint on your side..."

Speaking of disgruntled mothers, another young mum was recently forced to defend herself against trolls who blasted her after she announced she would be having her third child at the age of 20.

One mum was slammed for being pregnant with her third child at the age of 20.

Paige Roods, who is currently 21 weeks pregnant, said that people never believed she was a mum-of-three, caring for her three-year-old daughter and a nine-month-old son.

In a clip shared to TikTok, Paige revealed that she was expecting a third addition, with the video later going viral after hateful comments began to pour in.

Despite the mass of sceptics, many followers of Paige's account were quick to jump to her defence.

"I was stressed just having one at 19!" one fan wrote. "Kids are hard work if you are raising them right."

Another joked: "I can't even get a text back so you're doing fine!"
