An Instagram influencer has unintentionally become the butt of a joke after she revealed the name of her newborn daughter.

It’s not exactly out of the ordinary to hear unique baby names where celebrities and public figures are concerned.

Of course, Love Island alumni Molly-Mae Hague has a daughter called Bambi, Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin share Apple and Beyoncé’s eldest child is named Blue Ivy.

But one social media star has potentially set their offspring up for a life of ridicule due to their name lending itself to an X-rated moniker.

You may already be familiar with Kelly Havens Stickle - a Maryland-born influencer who lives in Ohio with her husband and three children.

The writer has collected a strong Instagram following and routinely delights her 56,300 fans with curated snapshots and cosy moments from her life in the countryside.

Earlier this year, Kelly took to the platform to announce she was pregnant again - this time with a daughter.

On May 6, the Christian influencer revealed that her third child had been born premature and with some difficulty.

“Our little firecracker daughter burst wildly into the outside world 3 weeks early on Wednesday, May 1,” she explained in an Instagram caption.

In the caption, which accompanied a carousel of photographs taken after the birth of Kelly’s third child, she revealed the tot’s name.

“Meet Theresa Havens Stickle,” she wrote.

Unfortunately, the name of Kelly’s daughter has caused a serious stir in fans due to a potential X-rated nickname.

Of course, Theresa can be shortened down to Tess, which is apparently where the issue lies.

Viewers have taken to platforms such as X, formerly known as Twitter, and Instagram to complain about the child’s name.

One X user wrote: “Bigus... dicus? Tess... stickle?”

A second typed: “You named your daughter… Tess Stickle???”

"Tess Stickle burst wildly into the world. I cannot. She HAS to know,” said another.

A fourth commented: "Too innocent and trad to realise the mistake.”

“I'm sure she'll have a ball," said another, as per The Mirror.

Kelly had a hard time giving birth to Theresa, and following that, has been telling her side of the story through various longer-length Instagram posts.

She has also offered fans an insight into her labour process through a six-part series titled ‘Theresa’s Birth’.

Ahead of the final part, posted on Wednesday (May 15), one fan wrote: “This is a like a mini-series- where you cannot wait for the next instalment….”

A second said: “Oh my oh my. The suspense gets worse but Theresa is worth it; you are worth it; the story is worth it. A miracle in the making and you are sharing it with us. Thank you so much!!! You are important.”
