You know the age-old saying, 'the apple doesn't fall far from the tree'?

Well it seems that it's a lot more of a thing for some parents and their little ones than others.

And Molly-Mae is of no exception after sharing a throwback picture where Bambi looks almost identical to the Love Island star as a little bub.

Earlier this afternoon, the mum-of-one took to Instagram to have a 'catch up' with her 7.9 million followers.

Fans all over rushed in to ask Molly-Mae questions about her outfits, social media detoxing and motherhood with one asking: "Do you think Bambi looks more like you or Tommy?"

The former Islander then responded with a sweet snap of herself as a little one with the overlay text reading: "Everyone says Tommy but then we found this pic of me the other day (lol) and I can really see her!

"The birthmark was really birthmarking at this age!"

Needless to say, the mother-daughter duo are a spitting image of one another!

Elsewhere in the Instagram Q&A, another fan asked Molly-Mae: "How are you finding motherhood to a toddler. They keep you very busy and entertained, right :)?"

The apple clearly doesn't fall far from the tree.

The social media star replied: "I wouldn't say she's a proper toddler yet but honestly motherhood now is everything I dreamt it would be.

"I can see it just getting better and better too. The older she gets the more amazing each day is."

Molly-Mae continued to share: "The first six months for me was the biggest challenge ever but now I feel very in control and happy.

"So many people used to say to me 'it only gets worse, it only gets harder' etc and it literally used to terrify me because I was really struggling... but for me personally it's just getting more incredible each day."

The Love Island star opened up about her experiences with motherhood.

Molly-Mae previously opened up about a 'weird' parenting technique she had been using for Bambi in a YouTube vlog.

During the video, Molly started to hear little Bambi cry on the baby monitor before she reassured fans: "She's OK, by the way.

"I know this seems... like some people don't like to leave their babies to cry, but right now she's more just sort of grizzling and this is her self-settling."

She added: "This feels really weird that I'm sharing this but this is totally normal. She does this every single time I put her down, she'll roll about in her cot a bit, she'll stand up, she'll cry a little bit and literally five minutes later she'll just fall asleep."

After Bambi finally settled, Molly admitted that it 'sounds horrible' but revealed the method in question had actually been working a charm for her and Tommy.
