A mum has said that she took her son to the park only to be told by another mum that her outfit was 'inappropriate'.

In a lot of countries, there is no right from wrong as to what you should wear when you are out and about.

Nevertheless, some people can't help but stare and even make a comment on how you have decided to dress yourself.

And one mum who goes by the name of Elle, claims that she was judged by a fellow mum when out with her son and even got a stare from the woman's husband.

In a video posted to her TikTok account (@summerellexx), Elle posed with her park outfit that consisted of a bright bikini with a black beach cover up over her top.

Captioning the short 17-second clip, the mum wrote: "All these other moms… seriously."

In the video, she says: "So I’m just at the park with my son this morning and this other mum just walked up to me and she said ‘I don’t think what you’re wearing is appropriate.

The mum was apparently at the park with her son.

"Now, I don’t know if she actually has a problem with what I’m wearing, or if she just has a problem that her husband keeps staring."

Elle posted the video on TikTok only a matter of hours ago, with it already amassing over 61,000 views, 2,500 likes and nearly 500 comments.

You could say that the comment section is rather divided, with some saying they thought the outfit was more appropriate for the beach than the park.

However, other TikTok users think Elle should be able to wear whatever she likes, within reason of course.

People in the comments were divided.

One person said: "Wear whatever you like hun nothing wrong with what you got on. She's definitely jealous her husband looking at you."

A second added: "You look great. Wear it you're comfortable."

Meanwhile, someone else remarked: "If you’re near the beach maybe but in the suburbs it’s a bit look at me." To which Elle replied: "Yep it’s right on the beach."

One TikTok user noted: "It’s a park, not a beach party!!"

And another stated: "Beach yes... town no."

Elsewhere on Elle's TikTok, she provided fun family shorts on the video platform, including family life and a bit of tennis.
