Neighbour Sends Mum Rude Noise Complaint Letter After Kids Play In Garden

Neighbour Sends Mum Rude Noise Complaint Letter After Kids Play In Garden

The mum received an angry letter reprimanding her for allowing her kids to be so noisy.

A mum has shared the furious letter she received from a neighbour for allowing her kids to play in the garden in the morning.

While 7.30am might not seem like an 'early start' for a lot of parents - it's a lie in if anything - one neighbour didn't quite agree, slamming the Australian mother for allowing her kids to play games outside at such an hour.

The letter read: "Your neighbours have endured many months of construction noise and now we are being disturbed by your kids in the backyard early in the morning.

"We wish to request that you keep your young kids indoors until 9am.

"There have been many occasions in recent times when your kids are out in the backyard early in the morning and they have been very loud and noisy."

The letter went on to claim that the children were "disturbing the peace" in the neighbourhood.

"Sometimes they are out very early around 7:30am and unfortunately, they have very loud voices," the letter read.

"Your son in particular is always screaming [at the] top of his voice."

While the letter did state that "kids will be kids", the anonymous sender added: "I'm simply asking if they can go out later so your neighbours aren't [woken up] too early in the morning."

After the mum shared the letter on Facebook, people were divided.

“I gather the renovations and now noisy kids is part of a bigger picture of generally being fed up with disturbances by these people!,” one individual wrote.

But others weren't so sure.

“Holy cr*p that’s some serious entitlement to expect people to keep kids in until 9am. I’d just ignore that,” penned a fellow parent.

“Until 9am oh god people are ridiculous, go live in the country away from others if your that offended,” another wrote.

“7.30am is not too early to be out playing they are kids,” someone else wrote, as someone else confirmed: "No builders can work from 7. So children should be allowed to play".

It looks like the jury is still out on this one...
