TikTok has given us so much joy over the past few months. Now, one TikToker has brightened up everyone's day by sharing the sweet gesture from the driver who delivered her lunch.
Julia, who goes by @dimarjuli, posted a video to the social media app explaining that she "blurted" to her delivery driver that she was having a bad day.

In response, he sent her a message after dropping off her steak quesadilla. The message reads: "Sorry to bother you, it's the delivery driver. I'm not trying to hit on you or be awkward but lunch is on me today.
"I put your money in your mailbox, hopefully this is able to change your bad day and slowly it turns towards a good day. Enjoy and be safe!"
Blown away by the delivery driver's kindness, she replied: "This was the nicest and sweetest thing ever. You really didn't have to do that.
"I'm still in shock lol, but I really appreciate it & it honestly made my whole week, not only my day."

Julia offered the man, who later revealed his name as Thomas, a free meal at a local pizzeria where she works.
She said: "I work at nonnas the pizzeria on bell, lmk when you want lunch or dinner the next one is one me!!"
He replied: "Don't worry about lunch or dinner, you don't owe me anything! I did it only to help even if it was just a little bit."

Lots of commenters were touched by the story, one person even wrote: "This gives me faith in humanity."
A second person said: "This is actually adorable."
There were also dozens of comments encouraging Julia to ask Thomas out on an official date.
"Take him on a pizza date," one TikTok user said.
