It could be mistaken for a genuine case file.

If you, like us, believe your MI5 acceptance letter must have been lost in the post, then fear not, there's still a way to put your super sleuth skills to work.

Whether you're designated date vetter of your friendship group (the one who can pull up their family tree and relationship history in mere seconds) or the person who shrieks "BUT WHAT ABOUT THE BLOOD VIAL?!" while watching Making A Murderer, chances are you love solving a case.

In which case you'll love Unsolved Case Files, the game that lets you play detective as you solve eerily realistic cold cases.

Receiving your case file post, you'll be presented with an scarily life-like murder case, complete with a victim, a bunch of suspects and lead detective (that's you).

The case file comes with all the evidence you'll need to solve the crime (

In the file, you'll find photo evidence, crime scene photographs, blue prints, maps, coroner's reports, newspaper articles, arrest reports and witness statements. And the goal? Unveil the identity of the real killer.

Alongside the case file, you'll find three 'objectives' that you need to solve to move through the case and convict the killer.

When you think you've got it, you can visit the online answer key to see if you solved the case, and if not, you can find hints to keep investigating.

It's like the immersive version of Cluedo and we're here for it.

The game is currently available on Amazon, where you can already find a ton of glowing reviews.

"All of the details were amazing. We really got into the case like a real detective would. We had so much fun!," said one happy customer.

"Great story with well written characters each with their own compelling motives to have committed the crime. My wife and I were entertained by this interactive mystery off-and-on for a couple of weeks, spending a total of around 8 hrs on it," raved another.

"We really enjoyed it! We really like the fact that all the evidence that you need to solve the case is included in the box, so you could work the case at your own pace. It wasn't super easy but it wasn't super complicated either," agreed a third.

Case closed.

Unsolved Case Files is available on Amazon for $28.99 (£22.42) and ships to the UK.
