Burnt toast is a thing of the past.

There's nothing more infuriating than burnt toast. One minute it's toasting away nicely, the next - the smoke alarm is sounding off and breakfast is ruined.

But now, Aldi has come up with a genius idea. The supermarket has launched a see-through, glass toaster, so you can check your toast as it's toasting.

Genius, right?!

The Ambiano Glass Toaster is £24.99 and features glass panels (which are removable for cleaning) as well as a detachable crumb tray.

There are six heat settings as well as reheat, defrost and cancel functions. And it's super sleek in style, too, with a modern silver and grey design.

But obvs, the best part is you can actually watch it in action, ensuring the bread doesn't burn and allowing you to achieve your idea of the perfect toast.

You can snap it up for £24.99 (

At £24.99, it also comes with a three year guarantee. While you can purchase the toaster on its own, you can also buy it as a set, along with the Ambiano Glass Kettle, for £44.98.

The matching kettle is also available on its own, for £19.99.

"Take the guess work out of toasting with this Ambiano Glass Toaster. With its easy-to-use design, it incorporates a removable glass window that allows you to view the browning level of your toast as it cooks, so that perfect slice is only minutes away every time," the product description reads.

"With 6 settings, a removable crumb tray for easy cooking, reheat, frost and cancel functions in a modern silver and glass design, give your kitchen the refresh it's been begging for with this amazing toaster."

While the toaster isn't officially released online and in stores until 31st May, you can pre-order it now via the Aldi website. It will then be dispatched once launched on 31st May.

This is going to save soooo many breakfasts...
