Packing for a trip abroad is more than enough to worry about without having to think about how many 100ml liquids you can squeeze into a tiny plastic bag

And for those of us who may forget to plan accordingly beforehand, having to dump all your fave setting sprays or foundation right outside the queue for security is a nightmare that could start your holiday on a bad note.

But fear not as one travel-savvy woman on TikTok has thought up a genius hack to avoid all liquid-related dramas.

Watch the clip below:

We all need to thank 23-year-old Ellie Connolly, from Dartford, Kent, who has been rightfully hailed a 'genius' on social media after sharing how she gets around that pesky 100ml rule.

It seems like a pretty obvious solution, but we've never thought of it!

Rather than going on a mini shopping spree in her local Boots to pick up all the bits she'll need for her holiday, Ellie simply logs onto their website a few weeks before her trip, picks out the liquids she wants to bring, and pre-orders them to the Boots at the airport.

That way, she can bring as many liquids as she wants on holiday without running the risk of having them confiscated at the airport.

"I order toiletries to Boots whenever I go away and I've been doing it for the past two years," she told her followers.

Ellie's travel tip is being hailed as a game changer.

"Only taking 100ml bottles works out so expensive so I just started ordering full size products to the airport Boots," she said, before listing all the must-haves she orders.

"I order shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion, toothpaste, razors, sun lotion, deodorant, face wash, baby oil, hair spray and heat defence.

"I order things I don't mind leaving behind," she added.

"Some people say it's a waste but usually when I go away I will stay in an AirBnB and leave them there or I go away with friends and we all share between us.

"I realised I could start doing this when I was going on holiday and I had forgot some things so I had to buy them in the airport and couldn’t believe how expensive it was.

"I spent around £30 and still didn’t manage to get everything and they were all minis. The hand cream alone was £4.50.

"I saw there were order boxes for people's click and collect parcels so I went online and saw it came up to get the delivery to the store so I decided to just try it one time and it worked."

It saves money, too? This really is a game-changer.

It's a genius way to take the stress out of packing.

Speaking about her iconic travel hack, Ellie said that she has already managed to help so many people by sharing the tip on TikTok.

"A lot of people have started doing this now getting nappies and formula for their babies," she said.

"My friends have also started doing this now too. I am like the mum of the group and will order it for everyone and works out cheaper as well.

"People have been loving it on TikTok, but a lot of people tell me it’s a waste and tell me to buy the things I need when I'm in the country I've gone to or just buy at airport.

"There has been a lot of negativity but there has also been some saying it's so useful and they're going to try it."
