Skincare can sometimes feel super complicated, with heaps of different routines, techniques and must-have products.

But Shania Twain has shocked fans after she revealed her very simple beauty regime.

The singer, 58, explained she uses just two products to remove her make up - and you can find them both in your kitchen.

In a tutorial for Harper's Bazaar, the singer explained that she makes her own facial scrub using just two ingredients - a method she's been using for a while.

Instead of opting for conventional make-up removers, the singer uses the scrub as her go-to for removing beauty products.

And it's really simple to make at home. In fact, or you'll need is sugar and olive oil.

“I just mix that in the palm of my hand,” she explained. “I don’t use make-up remover, per se. I really just combine the olive oil and the sugar.

“I don’t rub it in hard, I’m just softly doing this.”

Shania has previously spoken about using the scrub, telling The Cut in 2017 that she uses it to gently scrub her face.

She explained: "This is going to sound weird, but because I’m travelling so much, I take sugar and a bit of olive oil or any face cream that I’ve got handy.

“And I mix it with a little bit of warm water, and I gently scrub my face.

“I came up with it myself. It’s very hard to find an exfoliator that I really like - I tried so many. I have tried very fine sand before as well, but it’s a little bit too abrasive.

“Sugar works well because it softens with a little bit of warm water and it’s not sharp on the skin.”

Some fans worried that the sugar was also too abrasive though, with one commenting: "Sugar is so abrasive my face got red just watching this mess."

While another said: "I love Shania. Shania is my girl... But why are you putting sugar on your face?"

Others worried the olive oil would be too greasy, with one commenting: "I tried making my own makeup remover ONE TIME with olive oil and had cystic acne for a week."

Everyone agreed that it must be working, however, with fans obsessed with Shania's youthful glow.

"Love this!! She has such beautiful skin and is so naturally beautiful!" one person commented.
