A viral TikTok has captured the moment a wife caught her husband ‘in the act’ at her brother’s wedding after doing the same thing at their ceremony. Watch the clip below:

Dani Russell, 27, a social media influencer from Sydney, Australia shared the video starring her ‘rugby obsessed’ husband Blake, 29.

The couple – who met on Tinder in December 2016 and tied the knot in August 2020 - made the world laugh after Dani posted a video of her husband watching a rugby game during their once-in-a-lifetime wedding reception.

It has racked up 11.5 million viewers and garnered over 500,000 likes on TikTok.

When Dani announced that her brother was getting married, people had joked that history would probably repeat itself.

And, sure enough, Dani caught her husband watching rugby – or football in Australia – during their wedding reception.

In the second clip, which has racked up 97,000 views and 13,000 likes, she shows the previous video before cutting to the present day.

Blake is shown watching the game with the help of a makeshift phone stand made from the table’s wine cooler.

Users flocked to the comments to share their reactions, with many agreeing with the fanatic's decision – while others called for divorce.

“I couldn’t stand that…weddings should be a phone free zone. I’d be beyond pissed,” one viewer commented.

“Have people not learned to not plan weddings during finals?? Problem solved,” someone else said, followed by a laughing face emoji.

“I was less mad, as at least this wasn’t my wedding,” Dani told NeedToKnow.Online.

“But once again, I’m not surprised.

“My other brother was sitting near him and made me swap seats so he could watch it as well.

Dani claims that her husband is so obsessed, he's never missed a game, and his passion isn't confined to the football season.

“I think his obsession will one day lead to our divorce – it’s a joke of course, well for now anyway.

“We had to cancel our wedding three times due to covid and we didn’t have a choice but to reschedule throughout the football season.

I’d been planning since we got engaged, but had to rush with last minute plans to do it before the pandemic got worse.

“I wasn’t surprised [that he was watching rugby] and I believe his best man actually positioned the phone for him.

“My maid of honour filmed the clip and we found it hilarious, as it looked like I was about to kill him."

Dani revealed that his favourite team wasn't even playing 'but he loves rugby and can’t miss out'.

She added: “I knew before marrying Blake that I wouldn’t be as important as his favourite team – but there’s always hope one day.”
