A London family are raffling off their stunning £750,000 home for just £2 per ticket.

After the birth of their daughter, Lucy and James Mieville knew they needed more space, but worried they wouldn't find a traditional buyer with the world economy in difficulty.

To avoid any uncertainty, they decided to raffle off their two-bed city home, using Raffle House to run the competition.

Located in Denmark Hill, London, the property has a gorgeous open plan ground floor leading to a pretty private garden.

With two bedrooms, two bathrooms and two reception rooms, there's bags of space - and thanks to Lucy's eye for detail, the house has beautiful interiors throughout, too.

Independently valued at £750,000, the property comes with all legal fees and stamp duty covered - so, for the lucky winner, the price tag really is just £2.

Talking about the raffle, Lucy, a nutritionist, told The Daily Mail: "We realised we needed more bedrooms as we hope to have more children over the next few years.

"A number of people are raffling their homes, so we thought we'd give it a go.

"And that we can do this while also supporting two incredible charities also played a big part in our decision to raffle our home.

"We hope the winner loves the house just as much as we do and gets to enjoy Christmas there as we have so many times."

Benno Spencer, Raffle House chief executive, said: "It is not only a tough time to sell a house in London but also to buy one with the economy sliding and people facing the possibility of pay cuts or worse, losing their jobs.

"Raffle House was founded on the premise of helping as many people get onto the property ladder as possible and we look forward to handing over the keys to this stunning home to our next winner."
