Any Maccies fans out there will be stoked to know that the fast-food giant has now rolled out its latest menu change.

Families all over will be buzzing to know that McDonald's, AKA home of the Big Mac, will be able to save some money until the end of the month (30 July) - perfect timing with the summer holidays just days away (25 July).

The offer in question over one of the menu's most popular items sees a whopping 40% reduction in the average price.

Yep, the return of the £1.99 Happy Meal is here once again.

The meal contains a choice of Fish Fingers, Chicken McNuggets or Veggie Dippers with an Apple and Grape bag or Carrot Bag side, plus drink options including water, milk, or Fruit Shoot.

It's available for around £3.49 – or £1.99 through the McDonald’s app, so anyone looking to save their pennies have been advised to get downloading if they haven't yet.

And that's not the only thing for kids McDonald's is sorting for the little ones this month as, to mark the arrival of the new Despicable Me 4 film, the chain has also partnered with ILLUMINATION to launch an exclusive Despicable Me 4 Happy Meal.

Available next month (17 August), each limited-edition Happy Meal will include one of twelve Despicable Me 4 toys or one of two books.

A McDonald's spokesperson said: "Don’t forget to tackle Minion missions by scanning the QR code on the Happy Meal box! If that’s not enough, families can also visit the McDonald’s Family Hub for more fun activities.

"Customers will be able to earn points when they purchase this deal by opting into MyMcDonald’s Rewards.

"The scheme means every penny spent equals one Rewards point, so the new limited-time Happy Meal offer will get you 199 points."

In other Maccies news, the chain recently launched a brand-new menu with a never-before-seen item - an Oreo flavoured frappé replacing the beloved Biscoff Frappé as of last month (27 June).

The regular Oreo Frappé will cost £3.09, and a larger variant will cost £3.39.

However, as with most limited-edition Maccies items, it’s only available for a short period of time.

Your last opportunity to get a taste of the delicious creation will be 3 September - so you still have some time to try it if you haven't already.

But this isn’t the only newness you can expect - there’s actually an entire summer menu.

McDonald's also previously added eight new items, among which is the Hat Trick burger and a new McFlurry.

The burger features three beef patties, two slices of cheese, grilled onions, mustard, and ketchup on a glazed sesame seed bun.

The Hat Trick is £5.89, but you can upgrade to a meal with medium fries and a drink for £7.69.

The new McFlurry is in the form of Skittles, and is topped with a purple Skittles-flavoured sauce.
