New indoor Christmas theme park coming to the UK this year to rival Winter Wonderland

It's set to be London's biggest indoor winter experience.

If you visit Winter Wonderland every year without fail, then a new Christmas theme park could be one for your diary.

Heading to ExCeL London in December, Kingdom of Winter is an indoor winter theme park filled with fairground rides, markets and an ice rink.

There's a whole host of other wintery experiences too, including festive food and drink stalls, a circus created by Circus Cortex and an immersive ice expedition trail featuring interactive polar bears and penguins.

And if that doesn't leave you feeling full of festive cheer, there's also a hefty Christmas market where you can sample tasty snacks and sip plenty of delicious mulled wine.

Alongside the festivities, there's heaps of traditional theme park activities on offer too, including various fairground rides such as bumper cars and a waltzer.

Meanwhile, those looking for a thrill can try the 'extreme Ice Jet Force' which promises to delight those who are a little more adventurous.

Spread over 21,332 square feet and set to be London's biggest indoor winter experience this year, there's definitely something for everyone (and you won't have to worry about checking the weather).

Kingdom of Winter will open from 8 December until 7 January 2024 and tickets can be purchased online.

Prices range from £5.50 per person for a super off-peak entry, to £9.50 for standard admission.

It's also worth noting that not all of the park's attractions are included in the entry price.

The park is set to offer an indoor, weather-proof alternative to the hugely popular Winter Wonderland, which will also be reopening its doors again this year from 17 November to 1 January.

If you're also visiting Winter Wonderland this year, you'll be pleased to know that the attraction will be bringing back much-loved festive favourites including the Giant Wheel, which provides amazing views over the whole park, the Real Ice Slide, Zippos Christmas Circus, Santaland, Ice Sculpting Workshops, and a huge open-air ice rink.

There will also be a whole host of rides too, including The Hangover - an 85-metre-high drop tower - the Aeronaut Starflyer, the Blizzard and the Wave Swinger.

Tickets range from free entry during off-peak times, to £7.50 per person during peak times.

It’s not Christmas without a visit to Winter Wonderland in London.

If you're feeling ready to embrace the festive period already, you might be pleased to hear that a 24-hour Christmas hits radio station has just launched in the UK.

Sure, it's only October, but PSA, Heart radio has brought back Heart Xmas - and it's packed with Christmas bangers.

We're here for it tbh.
