Someone make this woman a saint!

Women are breathing huge sighs of relief after learning the best stretches for period pains and cramps.

It turns out, there are some pretty simple moves we can do to ease the pain of even our worst periods and honestly, where has this information been our whole life?

TikTok creator and Physical Therapist Dr Alicia Jeffrey-Thomas (@scrambledjam) put countless women out of their misery when she demonstrated the stretches on her page. You can watch her video here:

Viewers were thrilled when Dr Alicia's video appeared on their home page, commenting that it could not have come at a better time.

One wrote: "Perfect timing I just started my period and I’m ✨in pain✨".

A second asked: "But how did the algorithm know? 😅".

And a third wondered: "where were these when I fainted from period pain 😳".

Other women were shocked when they watched the clip, realising that they had unintentionally been practicing these stretches for years.

"I do these without even knowing 😭" commented one viewer.

"I love that I instinctively have always known to do child’s pose and cat/cow. Looking forward to adding the others!" added another.

After spotting Dr Alicia's video, some women have tried out the stretches for themselves and can't believe the results.

One thrilled TikTok user wrote: "Child’s pose hits SO DIFFERENT during a bad cramp," while a second added:

"I've actually fallen asleep in child's pose during bad night cramps."

A third shared: "Added this to favourites weeks ago and I'm so happy i did bc these exercises really help a lot."

Right. We're giving this a go next time mother nature strikes.

In other period news, we felt pretty justified earlier this month when we saw TikTok creator Maryam Amaria (@maryam.amaria) make her husband try out a period pain simulator.

Sharing the video to TikTok, Maryam wrote in the caption: "Conclusion: If men had periods they would all die."

The clip has already racked up more than 1.2 million views online, and many viewers are calling for other men to try out the simulator so they can understand the pain that women experience each month.

Now, that's a cause we can get behind.
