People are only just realising there's an easy way to peel garlic

The simple trick might help with your meal prep

If you've ever tried to peel a garlic bulb, you will know how damn fiddly it can be.

But a woman has now shared her ingenious trick for getting cloves out stress free:

Cooking isn't for everyone; we're not all supposed to be culinary whizzes.

One of the most stressful aspects of the kitchen, though, surely, is chopping and dicing veg. How do proper chefs do it so quickly?

But before you even get to cutting up your garlic, you must first get it out of its crumbly shell - which is no mean feat.

Well, one woman thinks she may have cracked it with her simple trick.

In a video shared on her TikTok page, @schrodingersbrat revealed that she had been working hard on her knife skills and had finally managed to peel a garlic bulb with minimal fuss.

Simple as that.

Rather than tearing at the outer shell, she just grabs hold of a knife and stabs the cloves individually before pulling them out.

Simple, eh?

Since she posted the video, it has been viewed over 11,500 times, with people dying to know how she does it.

"Need the tutorial!!!!" screamed one.

Another commented: "Whaaat! I gotta try this!"

"Tutorial pleaseeee," put a third.

And if you're still keen for more garlic related content, we've got just the thing.

This simple trick will help get that smell off your hands.

After you've got the clove out of the shell, you'll no doubt need to cut it up, which can leave a nasty smell on your hands.

Well, that could be a thing of the past with this hack.

Jasmine (@justforkingeatit) recently explained how she manages to get rid of the smell almost instantaneously without having to scrub her skin to within an inch of its life.

In the video posted to her page, Jasmine can be seen dicing up some garlic and, while most of us tend to scrub our hands to within an inch of their lives in an effort to clean them, she has a very simple method.

Rather than using soap or hand wash, she just rinses her fingers in some water and then wipes them on the stainless steel tap.

Et voilà! No more offensive garlic smell.
