As well as Home Alone being an iconic Christmas film for the raucous plot and stellar cast, the title of the film itself is legendary, in our eyes.
But not every country has gone with the short and sweet Home Alone iteration for the movie - and I'm not going to lie, I think Hungary utterly smashed it.
The 1990 film stars Macaulay Culkin as Kevin McCallister, a young boy who quite literally gets left at home alone when the rest of his huge family leave in a chaotic rush to the airport in order to enjoy a festive trip to Paris, unknowingly leaving him behind.
As he settles in to enjoy his Chicago home in peace without the nagging voices of his parents or the irritating jibes from his siblings, it soon transpires he has a huge task on his hands as a pair of local burglars, Harry and Marv, believing the house is empty, set their sights on the property and attempt to break in.

Kevin, being the witty little kid that he is, sets up a series of booby traps which risk foiling the burglars' plans.
But, as previously mentioned, not everybody calls the film Home Alone.

As per IMDb, a number translations don’t just translate back to Home Alone.
Petition to start calling it Shiver, Burglars! anyone? If not, I'm willing to settle for Mom, I Missed the Plane...
