There's an absolutely 'mind-blowing' new season of a psychological thriller that's just landed on our screens last week and it's already received an impressive near-perfect Rotten Tomatoes score.

Hailed as being called 'one of the best TV shows ever made', the five-parter stars the likes of The Thick of It's Peter Capaldi, Call the Midwife star Jessica Raine, and Humans' Phil Dunstser.

The first season came out in 2022 and, after an eternity of waiting, Amazon Prime viewers were finally treated to a second instalment.

The British drama thriller follows a social worker, Lucy Chambers (Raine), who

wakes up every night at exactly 3:33 AM after experiencing terrifying visions during the so-called 'devil's hour'.

Her name becomes inexplicably linked to a string of brutal murders in the area, and she is drawn into the hunt for a serial killer.

Capaldi plays a 'reclusive nomad' who is driven by a murderous obsession and becomes the prime target of a police manhunt led by compassionate detective Ravi Dhillon, (played by Nikesh Patel.)

The series is none other than The Devil’s Hour and it's no wonder people are so obsessed with it, given it's gleaming 94 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Capaldi recently opened up to Radio Times about what viewers can expect from the new season saying: "There's more action.

"It's probably more of a thriller than the last one was. It still has its cosmic and psychological horror vibe about it, but I think it moves much more quickly, and there's a ticking bomb in it that has to be dealt with.

"The Devil’s Hour is sooo gooodd," quipped a second.

A third piped up: "The only bad thing about season 2 of #TheDevilsHour is that it finishes after only five episodes and we now have to wait a year for the concluding season.

"Absolutely superb television - compelling, intricate, and intriguing."

"Just finished watching The Devil’s Hour season 2 I need some time to recover from this I think I can’t wait 2 years for the next season I need it NOW," echoed a fourth.

Another urged: "Have you seen The Devil’s Hour? Season 2 is now available. It has bumped everything else I was watching to the sidelines for now. No idea how it compares."

And a final X user gushed: "The Devil’s Hour is one of the best TV shows ever made and I highly recommend everyone watches it because it will truly blow your mind."
