Christmas is approaching fast, and it's only a matter of time before we all watch The Grinch again.
Jim Carrey and Taylor Momsen starred in the iconic 2000 film, with the joyously rubber-faced Carrey as the Grinch, and Taylor as an adorably button-nosed Cindy Lou Who.
Fans of the Christmas film were delighted when the pair reunited on the red carpet at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction ceremony last week (8 November), more than 25 years after starring in the film together.
After starring in the festive favourite, Taylor went on to find further fame playing teenage tearaway Jenny Humphrey in Gossip Girl, before deciding to follow her musical aspirations.

She quit acting as a teenager, and set up a rock band called The Pretty Reckless instead, which she still plays in today to great success.

Christmas lovers have been sharing photos of Jim and Taylor together, but there's one detail in particular nobody can get over.
One stunned Reddit user wrote: "I had to pause reading when I saw she is 32 now!"
Yes, the passage of time has continued, and Momsen turned 32 in July of this year.
She was just 5 years old when she filmed the role of Cindy, with Jim Carrey being 38 when he played The Grinch.
Another added: "25 YEARS AGO?!?! That can't be right..."

Time catches up with us all, but Taylor has been on film sets since she was just two-years-old, and formed her band at the age of 14.
There was a different revelation for one fan: "Waaaaait, Jenny from Gossip Girl is Cindy Lou??? Holy cow, how did I never put these two together???"
Taylor told PEOPLE about her time spent working with Jim: “I just love that he was very protective of me.
“He was always very kind. And just the entire experience of filming ‘Grinch’ and getting to know him so well, even in all the makeup, was just wonderful.”
She also confessed that as a little girl, she 'never knew what Carrey actually looked like' while on set, due to all of the prosthetics, and him being... well, green!

Taylor made the confession on Alex Cooper's Call Her Daddy podcast recently: “I didn’t know who Jim was until the premiere, and someone had to point him out to me and go, ‘That’s Jim,'” and I went, ‘Oh, Jim!'”
Carrey also described the film as 'a lucky thing' in his life.
In December 2024, he told Extra: "It really makes me feel good. How it happened, my gosh, I don’t know, but I’m so gratified by the idea that that’s one of the yule logs people go to. … I’m really happy about it. It’s a lovely thing.”
