Lewis Hamilton’s Ferrari career may have had a plot twist nobody saw coming, thanks to his new girlfriend, Kim Kardashian.
Many fans believe that the so-called 'Kardashian curse' has apparently cancelled out Ferrari’s own legendary bad luck.
The 'Kardashian curse' has been a long-running conspiracy theory which alleges that athletes or celebrities who become romantically involved with one of the Kardashians go on to suffer career setbacks, injuries or personal difficulties.
Ferrari, meanwhile, had a reputation of its own for misfortune, with high-profile mechanical problems, questionable pit stops and races slipping away when victory seemed to be a given.

After Hamilton joined Ferrari, the seven-time world champion seemed to face some major difficulties, and the top spot eluded him.
However, many fans say his luck has changed dramatically ever since Kardashian was spotted in the Ferrari paddock.

She might have ruffled feathers by unwittingly breaking an unwritten rule when she refused to give an interview to Martin Brundle, but she has redeemed herself since.
Many are calling it a 'cosmic equation' of sorts: if the Kardashian curse brings bad luck and Ferrari brings bad luck, perhaps putting the two together would somehow make the negatives cancel each other out.
The theory gained traction when Hamilton’s results began improving, as his relationship with Kardashian continued.
At the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix, Hamilton qualified on the front row in second, before capitalising on Antonelli’s mechanical failure to claim his first full Grand Prix victory for Ferrari.
The win also ended a nearly two-year wait for a Grand Prix victory.
Of course, none of this actually proves that Kardashian is the one to credit for reversing Ferrari’s misfortune, but it's certainly a funny theory.

Kardashian's fans hit out at the 'curse' saying it is nothing but a lazy excuse to blame women for men’s professional struggles.
One fan defended her: "To all the fans spreading negativity: Lewis Hamilton is happy with Kim Kardashian, he’s performing better in F1 and thriving personally. That’s all that should matter."
Another wrote: "Kim Kardashian out there with her curse, cancelling Ferrari curse is the best thing. Lewis Hamilton is going on a great run from here"
"Kim Kardashian curse cancelled the Ferrari curse. Lewis Hamilton is a lucky man," added another, sharing a loved-up pic of the couple.
If Hamilton continues collecting victories for Ferrari, fans may be tempted to keep believing the rumours anyway.
Whether his newfound success is down to coincidence, selective memory or simply a brilliant piece of Formula 1 internet humour, the timing is undeniably entertaining.
