For a lot of people though, the magic happens in behind the scenes content captured by attending guests. It gives a lesser known insight to the workings of the evening, and allows us to witness the more unfiltered, human moments we may have otherwise missed.

One of the most acclaimed films of the season, Poor Things, won an incredible four Oscars: Best Makeup and Hairstyling, Best Production Design, Best Costume Design and Best Actress, which was snagged by Emma Stone.

Stone is a previous Oscar winner, taking home the Best Actress award for her role in La La Land during the 2017 ceremony.

Being a seasoned attendee, you might assume she’s cool, calm and collected when it comes to these things.

In fact, a hilarious video from backstage shows that celebrities get just as distracted and flustered as we do.

Stone was captured chatting away in the hall before looking over her shoulder and seeing she was missing a huge moment - which was when Poor Things won the Best Makeup and Hairstyling award.

“Oh my God it's Nadia and I'm not out there!” Stone exclaimed. Nadia was on stage accepting the Oscar for Best Hair & Makeup on the set of Poor Things.

Fans just loved the behind the scenes clip, with one writing: “She is so cute.”

And another chimed in, “The way she runs LOL.”

Stone then managed to run away and catch the rest of it, whilst in her made to measure Louis Vuitton gown… which also suffered a bit of a malfunction that evening.

“My dress is broken”, Stone told the audience when accepting her Best Actress gong.

She went on to joke, “I think it happened during ‘I’m Just Ken’.”
