Sharon Stone has spilled the tea on which acting legend was her best kiss in Hollywood - and she's certainly given him high praise.

The 58-year-old American actress is a legend of the industry, having starred in a number of movies as mysterious 'femme fatale' characters, most notably her role in the 1992 erotic thriller Basic Instinct.

So, being told your smooch 'knocked her out' is a pretty impressive compliment to receive.

Appearing on an episode of SiriusXM’s Radio Andy on Wednesday (1 April), she made the surprising admission that Robert De Niro is the passionate kisser in question.

Stone gushed: "Oh my God, he's the best kisser in the business, he kissed me right out of my shoes."

The actress starred in the 1995 movie Casino alongside De Niro, who played Sam 'Ace' Rothstein, a mob-connected casino operator in Las Vegas who attempts a civilized lifestyle with his money-conditional wife Ginger, who was portrayed by Stone.

Reflecting on filming together, the actress described one particular scene they enjoyed so much that they went for a second take.

She recalled: "I remember the day when we did this scene where I had to go to the bathroom, and because I play this hustler, I get him to give me money to go to the bathroom.

"And he gives me this money, and I look at him like, 'Really? I think I need a little more than $50 for the bathroom'".

“He reaches in, and he gives me, like, $100," she continues, "And then I lean over, and I kiss him. And he just really knocked me out."

Apparently, the kiss was so passionate that even director Martin Scorsese could feel the tension.

Stone laughed: "Marty cut, and he looks at us and goes, ‘I think we got it, but would you guys like another one?’ And we both looked at him and went, ‘Yeah, I think maybe we need one more.’”

And it's not the first time she's had positive things to say about her time working with the Hollywood legend.

Speaking of Casino, she told E! News back in 2024: "I love the people that I worked with on that film. I learned more from working with Robert De Niro than I think I probably learned altogether in my entire career."

She added, "I love working with Marty Scorsese, and my relationship has stayed very much intact. Working with Jimmy Woods, unbelievable. Joe Pesci, who really fought for me to get this job, was great to me… These guys, they mean a lot to me. Nothing would be more exciting to me than to do anything with any of them.”
