ITV viewers cosied up to the debut season of My Mum, Your Dad when it first hit our screens last year and I'm sure we're all buzzing for our next fix of the heartwarming reality dating show.

In case you're unfamiliar with the programme, which has been excellently dubbed a 'middle-aged Love Island', My Mum, Your Dad follows a group of single parents who spend two weeks in a romantic countryside retreat after being nominated by their grown-up kids for a second chance at love.

However, it wouldn't be modern reality telly without a pretty major twist which is - unbeknownst to the parents, the singletons' kids watch their every move from a nearby location.

Now, the last season of the ITV programme, hosted by Davina McCall, introduced us to the likes of fan-favourites, 47-year-old Janey Smith and Roger Hawes, 58, who were nominated by their children William and Jess, respectively.

Since the show came to an end, the happy couple seem to be going strong - regularly posting snippets of their life across social media, with fans dying to know what's in the cards for them next.

Well, it seems we could be looking at the very first My Mum, Your Dad wedding as Roger has teased marriage plans with Janey after 'only nine months' of dating.

Opening up a little more about the prospect of one day tying the knot, Roger told Tyla: "It's something I'm aware of because even strangers come up to me if I'm getting married!

"I say, 'Well, it has only been nine months!' But it's certainly not out of the question!"

He went on: "The way things are progressing... I think it would be lovely and romantic and, yeah, who knows!"

Very exciting.

Speaking a little more about Janey, Roger gushed: "I think she's brilliant and she's a lovely person.

"She's fun, caring, talented - the list goes on! I just think I've lucked out, to be honest, with her. I wouldn't want to let her slip away."

Sharing that it's 'all going really well', Roger continued: "We're enjoying spending as much time together as we can."

He added: "You know when you get a special person in your life and I think she is that person.

"That's all I can say on the matter at the moment!"

Well, I guess we'll all just have to sit tight to wait and see how the future unfolds.

My Mum, Your Dad series two is currently on the hunt for single parents and their grown up kids who want another shot at finding a connection.
