The cast of a coming-of-age classic flick has reunited after two decades since its release, and fans are losing it.
There are some films that just stay with you forever and still hold up even 20 years later.
But there’s something to be said about a cast that met as young children, teens and adults, to suddenly come together again in a whole new era of life.
For the film’s 20th anniversary, Abigail Breslin, Paul Dano, Toni Collette, and Greg Kinnear joined hands once again at the Sundance Film Festival to celebrate their 2006 success as the eccentric Hoover family.

The meeting took place on 28 January in Park City, Utah for a special screening of their project, where Breslin gushed about working on its set as a young child.

Speaking to Pop Faction, she shared of her experience, and what she wishes happened differently, stating on the red carpet: “In some ways, I wish I had been older when I did it, so I could appreciate that experience more. But also, I’m happy that I was at that age because I feel like I would have been a little bit too jaded later on.”
She could only be talking about the amazing Little Miss Sunshine.
This film was one that left its mark on Hollywood, as it centered around a family who were determined to get their young daughter into the finals of a beauty pageant, and even took a cross-country trip in their VW bus to make it happen.
Of course, this came with a lot of laughs, silly moments, and sad realisations too, making it wholesome and family-orientated.

During filming, Breslin was between nine and ten years old, while Dano was 21, playing a 15-year-old.
Now, Breslin is 29, and Dano is 41, and they look so different - as do the rest of the cast members.
Fans who saw the reunion couldn’t help but fawn over the ‘best cast ever’ and how grown up they all are.

On social media, one user wrote: “Omg look at them now!”
Another said: “I love this movie, fantastic team!”
Someone else shared: “This movie made me laugh until I cried. Still one of my favorites!!!”
Can we get a Little Miss Sunshine 2??

However, two special people were missing from the mega-star cast reunion.
Sadly, the late Alan Arkin, who played Edward Hoover and Steve Carell, who took on the role of Frank Ginsburg were the missing pieces to making the group whole.
Imagine that reunion and people’s reactions...
