We love a good period drama and we always say, the raunchier the better. So, if you’ve already binge-watched the latest episodes of Bridgerton or were obsessed with The Tudors back in the day, you’ll want to keep an eye out for the new steamy and wickedly entertaining historical drama My Lady Jane.

Due to be released on 27 June here in the UK, we don’t have long to wait until it premieres. But how exactly do you go about watching the highly anticipated show? Well, keep reading to find out everything you need to know about My Lady Jane and how to tune in.

The show is set to debut this June.

Alternatively, if you’ve already had a free trial or want to sign up to watch more from Prime Video, it is available as part of the Amazon Prime membership, which costs £8.99 per month, or £95 annually, for an individual.

If you’re not too fussed about having free one-day delivery or other perks like grocery and same-day deliveries, you can sign-up for Prime Video on its own for £5.99 per month.

Both options allow you to watch on a range of phones, tablets, laptops, smart TVs, games consoles and streaming sticks. Plus, you can watch offline by downloading episodes to the Prime Video app, which is particularly handy if you have a long train journey or are heading off on your holidays but don’t want to miss out when you’re away.

The show is set in the scandalous Tudor era.

What is My Lady Jane about?

Based on the book of the same title, by Brodi Ashton, Cynthia Hand and Jodi Meadows, My Lady Jane is a scandalous retelling of English royal history – think “high adventure, regicidal maniacs, deadpan heroism, devious intrigues, swashbuckling swordfights, a soupçon of magical realism and oodles of sex,” according to Amazon.

We can't wait to tune in.

It essentially poses the question, what could have happened if instead of reigning for just nine days before being executed, the infamous Lady Jane Grey had lived.

It stars the likes of Killing Eve’s Edward Bluemel, Mamma Mia’s Dominic Cooper, comedian and actor Rob Brydon, beloved British actor Jim Broadbent, as well as Emily Bader in the title role.

My Lady Jane is available on Prime Video on 27 June.
