Billie Eilish fans all saying the same thing as she performs live at the Oscars

Billie Eilish fans all saying the same thing as she performs live at the Oscars

The 'What Was I Made For' singer's voice has sparked a unanimous reaction.

The Oscars is one of the most eagerly-anticipated celebrity soirees of the year, and already the 2024 ceremony has kicked off with a bang.

This evening, the biggest names in film, television, music, and fashion flocked down to the red carpet of Los Angeles’ Dolby Theatre to celebrate the 96th Academy Awards.

Talk show frontman Jimmy Kimmel is in the midst of hosting this year’s festivities, and already, Oppenheimer is a frontrunner – having received 13 nominations.

Eyes have also been on the cast of Barbie since they rocked up to the big-name extravaganza, after both lead actress Margot Robbie and director Greta Gerwig were sensationally snubbed from this year’s nominations.

Which is particularly dramatic, especially after it was announced that frontman Ryan Gosling would be performing his rendition of ‘I’m Just Ken’ in front of the live studio audience.

And speaking of Barbie performances, just minutes ago, we witnessed chart-topper Billie Eilish perform the soundtrack single she wrote for the feminist blockbuster.

Whilst performing in front of the plethora of leading entertainment artists was evidently a big deal for the young star - who became emotional when her rendition of 'What Was I Made For' came to an end - viewers have seemingly come to a unanimous verdict on her performance.

And luckily, their reaction was pure delight.

"What an incredible performance from @billieeilish," one penned on Twitter.

Another wrote: "@billieeilish baby that voice."

"Ok, yep. & your performance of it made me cry too @billieeilish SUCH a beautiful song," a third went on.

Another added: "How good was @billieeilish ?!"

"Dammit @billieeilish you got me crying over here #Oscars," another said.
