Billie Eilish got to live her teenage dream at Coachella at the weekend, when she was ushered onstage to join Justin Bieber for 'One Less Lonely Girl'.
Understandably, she was massively excited as she was a huge Belieber as a youngster, and Justin's wife Hailey encouraged her to go up for the cute song.
Billie shared an emotional reaction online following the interaction, as she shared a close-up selfie of her tearful eyes, captioned "Can't stop crying".
In the early days of his career, Justin would invite a different fan up onstage, where he would sit and serenade them as his 'lonely girl' for the night.

Video of the sweet moment shows Billie repeatedly falling in disbelief and looking up the stage to where her idol was standing, but not all of his fans approved.

Social media users have hit out at the singer for her excitement, with some deeming it to be 'over-the-top' and accused her of taking the spotlight away from Justin of his special Coachella moment.
One wrote: "Bro this is so dramatic, she’s acting like she’s never met him lmaooo"
Another queried: "Aren’t they friends in real life? She was with Hailey walking around last week. A bit dramatic to collapse…." while another echoed: "It's a sweet moment but felt little bit performative."
One X user tried to see it from both sides: "I keep seeing people say Billie Eilish was “overreacting” but you can literally see here that she was in shock mode before she even was on stage."
This Bieber fan knew their comment wouldn't go down well: "Heads up, now a wave of hate is gonna come crashing down on me. I think Billie’s behavior was mega over-the-top. Those stage falls wtf?? I get that she was excited, but come on, she could’ve just walked up to him normally."

Fans of both Justin and Billie rushed to defend the star in the comments: "That’s why she’s there living HER moment and not you!"
Another insisted: "She's been a fan. Let her be," while another added: "Ummm it’s Justin Bieber?? Millions of little girls were obsessed with him including Billie? I would collapse if I was that close to him too!"
"She’s so real for that reacting cuz same girl," confessed one fan, with another adding: "I’m sorry this funny idc she’s still a fan at heart."
Billie's mom, Maggie Baird, shared a video with a caption detailing what the moment really meant: “One of the most touching moments ever. It sounds crazy, but we watch our children develop these deep deep connections to artists who move them and usually there's nothing in our power to do. But we buy them records and maybe buy them a ticket to a concert (or a movie of a concert in our case because we couldn't afford to see an actual concert)."
"Watching this crazy unimaginable dream come true over many years is so incredible. I'm so grateful to Justin Bieber for the kindness he has shown Billie and to our whole family and to Hailey who makes so many things wonderful and possible.”
Many fans are now hopeful that we will be getting a tour from Justin thanks to the comment he made at the end of his set, but we'll have to wait and see.
