We're now nearing the end of the month but we're no where near running out of cracking things to watch on the telly.

While there's been a whole bunch of binge-worthy material on Netflix this January, it seems Amazon Prime is definitely having a bit of a moment too with viewers absolutely 'hooked' on a brand-new psychological thriller that 'keeps you guessing'.

The drama miniseries, which boasts a star-studded cast including the likes of Nicole Kidman - who is also an executive producer - Sarayu Blue, Ji-young Yoo, Brian Tee, is created by Lulu Wang and based on the 2016 novel, The Expatriates.

Check out the official trailer here:

The six-episode adaptation premiered on Amazon Prime last week (26 January) and follows three women whose families become intertwined by tragedy with the official premise for the series reading: "Set against the complex tapestry of Hong Kong residents, Expats depicts a multifaceted group of women after a single encounter sets off a chain of life-altering events that leaves everyone navigating the intricate balance between blame and accountability."

Viewers have since rushed to social media to share their praise for the gripping Expats series with one X, formerly Twitter, user writing: "Enjoying Expats on Prime Intriguing and keeps you guessing. Interesting camera shots and location views."

A second penned: "You know in shows sometimes when everyone knows something but you as the viewer don’t find out until later? And sometimes it’s good suspense and sometimes it’s not? In this case I thought it was good!"

"Anyways, Expats on Prime is pretty good. They’ve hooked me!" gushed a third while another chimed in: "Okay… randomly clicked on this show on Prime called Expats bc I saw my girl Nicole Kidman on the artwork. There’s only two episodes so far but I’m invested now!!"

A fifth then echoed: "We have a new Nicole Kidman led limited series on Prime called Expats and the first two episodes are so intense!"

The first two episodes of Expats are currently available to stream on Amazon Prime.

"Amazon Prime was smart not to release all the episodes of Expats cause I would’ve binge watched it all," admitted somone else.

A final viewer echoed: "Watched two episodes of Expats on Prime. Can’t wait to see what happens next!"

Well, I definitely know what I'll be watching this week.

The first two episodes of Expats are currently available to stream on Amazon Prime with another episode being added on Thursday (1 February).
