Netflix fans are all saying the same thing after sinking their teeth into the first season of an über popular action thriller.

The first season of the show first dropped on the streaming platform last year and fans of the series will be buzzing to know that the show will be renewed for another 10 episodes.

Once dubbed 'series two' of BBC's Bodyguard, the series in question follows low-level FBI agent Peter Sutherland who works in the basement of the White House, just waiting for the call that will change his career.

Viewers are all saying the same thing about the Netflix show.

Before long, Peter finds himself wrapped up in a conspiracy theory leading all the way to the Oval Office.

People were immediately gripped by the drama, titled The Night Agent, which spanned a hefty 10 episodes all around an hour long to make for perfect binging material.

Netflix viewers can now look forward to seeing familiar faces Gabriel Basso and Luciane Buchanan return to their screens alongside newcomers including Brittany Snow and Teddy Sears.

Series one of The Night Agent dropped over a year ago and it's clear fans are more than ready for their next fix.

Speaking of the upcoming second season, one Facebook user hit out on the Netflix Bangers page: "It’s taking too long!!!"

"It's really keeping me waiting," penned a second, while a third piped up: "The waiting is killing us!"

A fourth quipped: "I’m gonna be constantly asking now when this is coming out."

"I AM STARVING PLZ QUICKLY," demanded a fifth, while a sixth begged: "Over seeing this just give us a date already!"

Another wrote: "Hope it’s soon!"

"The first one was great can't wait!" praised a final user.

Based on the novel by Matthew Quirk, The Night Agent debuted at No. 1 on the English TV List with 168.71 million hours viewed in its first week of release, appearing in the Top 10 in 93 countries.

Filming has already commenced for the second season.

Speaking at the time of the second series renewal, creator and show-runner Shawn Ryan gushed: "To see the tremendous reaction to the show has been a great joy and is a credit to our cast, our writers, our directors, our crew and our partners at Sony Pictures Television and Netflix.

"We couldn’t be any prouder or more excited to get cracking on Season 2 to share the further adventures of Night Action with our newfound fans."

Filming has commenced for the new season so it's only a matter of time now...

Series one of The Night Agent is currently available to stream on Netflix.
